Why the hell didnt we get all that snow! I mean thursady we got maybe 2" In the southtowns. Friday we got alittle more (more in afternoon). But its snowing good now. The weather men really have no clue! Ill tell you if the weather is going to change by how my knee and hand feels!

You can have some of mine! Yesterday morning I shoveled for 2 hours, then my brother showed up with his tractor - equipped with a big bucket up front - and scooped out the end of the driveway. Then a neighbor came over with HIS tractor, equipped with a snowblower, and blew out the rest of the driveway.

This morning I was out at 6:10, and I've pretty much been shoveling since, except for a little lunchbreak just now. Though, THIS shoveling was purely for fun - built the kids two big slides, and a "snow house" to play in.

Hubby just went to buy a snow-shovel. We can't find ours - it must be buried somewhere. He checked Home Depot and Walmart - both sold out..... pooh

We have kept the power on but in the last 2 days we have gotten around 6". I know cuse got it much worse then out my way.

Doing fine here in Irondequoit once my driveway finally got plowed. :D It's warm enough that snow melt is still dripping off my roof while this new fluffy stuff comes down. Roads here are just wet. I'm curious about condition of the main roads in Syracuse... anyone know?

This is way late for your trip this afternoon, but the roads in Syracuse were totally fine today - practically bone dry. It's amazing the difference between here and Syracuse - out here in the boonies, we got at least twice the snow that Syracuse did this week!

thanks, though for thinking of us! it was a gorgeous drive...sun was shining, roads dry...and fairly warm! (41 degrees....almost tropical!!! lol)

We only got a few inches at our place too.

I had planned on meeting you guys there but ended up meeting someone else to show 'em a car I have for sale. They bought it. Woohoo!

No worries as I'm positive there will be a repeat of that trip at some point in time. Congrats on the sale of the car! :D
