Ot here we go steelers

$70 parking about 3 blocks away. Flights were $1200 round trip for 2 people. Tix face value. cheap rental car and 3 nights hotel $600.

It's not that bad if you win the season ticket lottery and dont have to pay $2400 per ticket. This is my 3rd SB trip and this one should be the best matchup!

I have a patient that did not win the lottery - he is bummed and waiting for ticket prices to come down and hopes to go still.

that's a bummer. We got hosed on the lottery the past two super bowls and had to pay top dollar...but still worth the memories.

Ok, I am giving up on them already at 14-3 after Ben's 2nd Pick.

Ben looks like the QB that never played in a Superbowl. I guess the criticism of him not being an elite QB was right.

Off to do a water change......

When did we pick up Neil O'Donnell again?

Either way I still have faith in our boys. LET'S GO STEELERS!!!

LOSERS.

I would rather them have gone 7-9 and not made the playoffs than lose the Super Bowl.

Losing a Super Bowl is not acceptable, I wish the Jets would have beat us. They were not ready to play which was obvious with the turnovers.

you reap what you sow, Ben!

He was generally awful today, as was Troy. The only time you heard polamolu's name was when he was getting beat in the end zone.

It was a pretty embarrassing showing today and they were still in it at the end.

Wow guys- You are pathetic fans!!! WE are #2 in the whole league on a team that had it's quarterback out for the first 4 games, and then we lost our most experienced offensive lineman for the year in training camp. At this point no one felt we would even make the playoffs. Then during the year had major injuries to offensive and defensive linemen and defensive backs ( Troy and Mcfadden). Yet we made it to the Superbowl with:

1) Troy = the defensive player of the year out several games in the end of the season ( slow reaction time from not playing much) and was still a lot more hurt than has been publicized.
2) McFadden goes down early and does not return so William Gay is now in on every play= trouble as he has no hand eye coordination - or maybe has no hands at all - note- I bet over half of the passes went toward the man Gay was covering
3) Pouncey= lost our best offensive lineman the game before- this proves costly as the Steelers are already low in offensive linemen
4) Ben's foot is hurt - hence throwing mechanism is off= high throws. Sure, he should have been able to compensate. But, first interception was due to being hit on the throwing arm at the same time as he was coming forward = offensive linemen at fault. The second interception= forced ball into coverage= Ben's fault but also a great defensive play- especially to intercept.
5) Mendenhall's fumble = another offensive line screw- up - #85 failed to even touch Matthews when he pulled from the left side and Legurtsky ( spell?) = Pounceys replacement got blown through so Mendenhall was hammered by two guys right when he got the ball in our backfield
6) Did you really think the refs were going to call the game fairly after all the heat Roger Goodell took from the Steeler's = no penalties on GB for the entire first half = Hmmmm.... Granted every call they made was a penalty- but they were happening on GB as well but not called. This was especially true on the call on the last kick off- hmmm... pinning the Steelers on the 13 yard line definitely decreased the odds of a last minute winning touchdown.

Considering all the above- the game was still very entertaining ...which isn't that the point.

You wonder why little league is starting to say "no winning or losing - we wont keep score"= due to people ( parents) saying that losing is for losers and that you cant have any fun if you loose, etc.

OK- I am done with my rant.

P.S.- 3 turnovers= losers - yeah they stunk up the place, lol. Please disregard all the above.
