OT: House Rental Needed in Richmond CA area

Moving my mother up to the Richmond CA area. My father passed away recently and my mother is living by herself in Visalia, CA. Anyone knows of a Apartment/Duplex/house that is either 1 or 2 bedrooms for rent? Of course, allowing a fish tank is a plus. Thinking of setting her a nice mini reef . She has section 8 voucher too. Have you tried craigslist? I just went on and checked. I see a lot of listing just not sure how much your monthly budget will be.

I have been checking it every day. Every time I asked if they take section 8 then no reply.

She can always live with you

For Section 8:

-TOo many payment issues
-Too many bad tenants
-Too many crimes
-Too much damage to housing rented
-TOo much human greed

the list goes on
