I've been saying it since I was 16, people in MO do not know how to drive. Now there is evidence to back me up... second worst in the country.

Proof

Everyone practices Defensive Driving - someone's got to pick up the Offense.

/married to an Illinoisian - you people can't drive.
//I'd sooner take my chances with our 6 year old behind the wheel
///slashies are on sale this week

*sigh* Here we go, now I'm gonna have to wear my kevlar when I drive into St. Louis to work tomorrow with my Illinois plates.

and that side has how many people compaired to this side-- if your people would stay over there our numbers wouldnt be so high

aw geez...if you're going to use that argument, then the fact that we have considerably smaller numbers should make any contribution on the part of the drivers from Illinois insignificant to the overall results for the city's totals. :p

Are you saying I can't visit "your" side of the river anymore, Chad? ;)

I can't believe the drivers here! I moved from Dallas, and ended up selling my motorcycle cause I'm scared for my life here...People drive 40 in the fast lane for fun!

lol I'm from here and moved to Atlanta ... when I moved back I had to relearn how to drive St Louis style... Kelly you couldnt be more right....

LOL

You people need to drive in Washington DC. It took me a week or two before I learned you can't turn on your blinkers. If you do, you are giving them advance notice you intend to come into their lane and they will speed up so you can't.

Boston is pretty fun too.

Everytime I go to Dallas though it's both hands on the wheel and no talking! You come out of a hairpin curve onramp and if you're not going 70, you're not merging in! If you are going 80 in a 55, the public transportation busses pass you at about 90!
Dallas area has to be the most nerve racking area to drive followed closely by the Atlanta area's route that goes through the city as you drive to Florida at rush hour. They just line the police and ambulances up getting ready for the mess.

Roy your pretty dead on about Atlanta. I was passed by a cop in atlanta while I was doing ninety... I about had a heart attack until he waved and passed me up.

I'm with Curt. I went to college in DC and the driving there is crazy. Tons of inexperienced foreign drivers and traffic circles.

I've also driven in Boston. It's nuts. 90+ MPH on the highway was normal. It made NY look tame.

Around here, 9 times out of 10 when I see bad driving there is a IL license plate on the car.
