Ot- I need help

Are there any GM mechanics out there that can tell me how to disable the power sliding doors on a 2005 chevy uplander. I dont care if they dont work I just want to be able to use the door to get my kids in and out. I have cleande the contacts, and cant afford to take it in. I just to the point of pullinf the radio and cutting the door cables. This van was the worst purchas in my life and will never own a Gm van again. Any help would be great.

owners manual has fuse box info

find the fuse for the doors and pull it.

Tried that, but thanks for the reply. There is still the ding form somthing telling you that the doors are not shut properly. I'm hoping someone knows how to trick the sensor or jump some wires to stop the beeping.

so the problem is your getting a beeping indicating the doors are open right? i should be able to help you with that, where are you located? please get me the exact model of your vehicle and i will look up the wiring schematic to see what we can do to bypass the door sensors.

I looked it up in the computer at the shop and it should be no problem for me, i just will bypass whatever door is malfunctioning at the body control module. I have done this before on this same gm system without any issues. I have also done it many dodge caravans and others.
