Anybody in the area fix or know anybody that does laptops? I have 2 laptops that need fixin. One needs a screen and the other needs the charging port changed. I looked to do it myself and looks simple but I guess I'm just a bit scared. I have the part for the charging port but still need the screen. I found it on Ebay for like close to $100 but might as well wait and see if someone that does do this sort of thing can maybe get it a bit cheaper for me. Looking for something not too expensive and heck if it's one of you reefers I might look into trading work for coral or something. I checked with Best Buy and they charge more thant what I want to pay and that is without the part. So let me know. Thanks

You can do it by yourself. Its really easy. Laptops are just like any desktop with regards to part integration and ease of taking apart. If youve ever taken apart your desktop, you can take your laptop apart. Dont be scared, just be careful! And, just remember that google knows all. type in something like- Dell mn2100 breakdown, Dell mn2100 power adapter replacement walkthrough, you get the point.
Someone will have done it and most likely have shown some pics. The only thing that might stop you is not having the right screw driver bits.

Yea I kinda took them apart already but the one that needs the port replaced needs to be welded to the board I believe. The other one I'm just scared I guess. I know all I need is to be carefull but :worried:

Lol what part of No I wont fix your computer dont you understand.... thats my fav t-shirt lol. its actually really easy the only issue with ebay parts is you never know if it is going to fit correctly or even have the same backlight connection. Now is this lappy worth fixing? if its old I would take the cash and pick up a new one they are dirt cheap nowadays. shoot me a call we can work something out. The charging port should be a real easy fast fix as long as you dont have to solder anything in place and a screen can take about an hour depending on the laptop

welp I missed the post about needing to be soldered you would have to come to me as I have all my tools set up on my desk
EDIT: I am recovering from my bday party last night and I have to work tomorrow all day at the beach again doing a Red Bull gig and I have a job interview wed and hopefully will get it wish me luck so either mon or tues works best for me if you guys are free I should be around all day unless my gun card comes then I will be buying guns all day lol but we can fit it in
