This is not my dog. I am helping spread the word about a friend's lost dog. She is a dog rescuer but this is her personal pet that was lost yesterday. I know that a lot of FRAG folks live out this way and are dog lovers so please help by being on the lookout for this dog & spreading the word.
I will try to get a photo for you as well.
Thanks,
Frizz

Hello all --
I've spent the last 7 hours (along with several friends) looking for my rotti....She was with me today at the ASU East Campus (Power Road and Williams Field) .. Something spooked her this afternoon and she took off around a building she and I were walking to --- It's almost as if she vanished in to thin air -- she turned the corner of the building and then another corner where I was running after her - and she's gone.....

yes she is a beloved pet -- however, there's something even more special about her ---she's currently on a trial vaccine for cancer -- having just finished Chemo myself last October I hold my Rotti VERY near and dear to my soul -- in the midst of my driving around frantically looking for her today her oncologist called with some fanstastic news - the lump we removed from her neck came back negative for cancer -- I only wish I had her with me to celebrate the great news....

she had surgery on Monday to remove the lump in her neck so she has a fresh suture on her left-neck-lymph area....her neck is shaved as is her right front paw from the catheter....

Here are the specifics:

Name: Daisy (knows her name and will come to you if you are gentle with her)
10 years old Rottweiller
LOVES kids -- is cautious around new people
91 lbs
Big healthy girl right now
no collar (because of the incision in her neck)
ran from the ASU East Campus (near the williams airport)

Not sure if she'll try to find her way home or not......i'm SICK about this as you can imagine....

She's posted on pets911 and Finding Fido. I am printing signs this evening to hang on and near the campus.

SWEET girl who will come to you with a gentle coaxing....PLEASE say prayers for her safe return and i will continue driving around looking for her....

If any of you have other ideas please feel free to contact me....
:-(

With VERY HEAVY HEART...

I know the pain of missing a pet. I sincerely hope Daisy makes a safe, healthy return home.

My thoughts are with you and hope she makes it home safe and sound.

Have you spoken to the animal control local to that area a large dog such as that will be taken as a threat as most people are scared of them contact them asap to let them know so they not use brute force to catch her.

Good Luck :fun4: I'm looking all around

Lori has asked me to tell everyone that Daisy has been found and that she is now safely at home again.
Thank you everyone. :lolspin:

EVERYONE GET YOUR DOG MICROCHIPPED! Even if they are stolen you have a good chance of gettig them back with a chip. I think the Humane society does it for like $50, and SOOOO worth it!!! Glad she found her baby Frizz. I was going through some drama last weekend and had to move out of my Ex's suddenly, only to take my dogs to my folks house for a couple days until my new house was ready. WELL I thought Byerly my BELOVED Kid/Boxer jumped the fence. Hew was missing for a week, I was Heartbroken no sleep, HOURS of walking and driving around.... and only to find out that my Ex had stolen him from my parents backyard. YEA REALLY crapy. All in all it ended well and Byerly is now home agan with me. I wanted to tell everyone about a few places to ALWAYS check and post if your dog is lost.
Craigslist and Pets 911 IMO the best (I got tons of calls)

www.petfinder.com

ALSO I work as a designer and can make full color flyers for anyone who loses a puppy, I ususally have coupons so it would be free. I know how hard it is, its the most horrifying experience I have been through in a long time. I am SO glad for a happy resolution to my situ. and also for your friends lost Rottie.
