This is not my dog. I am helping spread the word about a friend's lost dog. She is a dog rescuer but this is her personal pet that was lost yesterday. I know that a lot of FRAG folks live out this way and are dog lovers so please help by being on the lookout for this dog & spreading the word.
I will try to get a photo for you as well.
Thanks,
Frizz

Hello all --
I've spent the last 7 hours (along with several friends) looking for my rotti....She was with me today at the ASU East Campus (Power Road and Williams Field) .. Something spooked her this afternoon and she took off around a building she and I were walking to --- It's almost as if she vanished in to thin air -- she turned the corner of the building and then another corner where I was running after her - and she's gone.....
yes she is a beloved pet -- however, there's something even more special about her ---she's currently on a trial vaccine for cancer -- having just finished Chemo myself last October I hold my Rotti VERY near and dear to my soul -- in the midst of my driving around frantically looking for her today her oncologist called with some fanstastic news - the lump we removed from her neck came back negative for cancer -- I only wish I had her with me to celebrate the great news....
she had surgery on Monday to remove the lump in her neck so she has a fresh suture on her left-neck-lymph area....her neck is shaved as is her right front paw from the catheter....
Here are the specifics:
Name: Daisy (knows her name and will come to you if you are gentle with her)
10 years old Rottweiller
LOVES kids -- is cautious around new people
91 lbs
Big healthy girl right now
no collar (because of the incision in her neck)
ran from the ASU East Campus (near the williams airport)
Not sure if she'll try to find her way home or not......i'm SICK about this as you can imagine....
She's posted on pets911 and Finding Fido. I am printing signs this evening to hang on and near the campus.
SWEET girl who will come to you with a gentle coaxing....PLEASE say prayers for her safe return and i will continue driving around looking for her....
If any of you have other ideas please feel free to contact me....
:-(
With VERY HEAVY HEART...
