Does this take about 4 16gb cards to record all of this? I think my 4gb card will only record for 15 minutes or so on high quality (thought I read that somewhere).

He is doing time lapse, which is just a series of still shots merged into a video. And if I remember right, he has the camera saving directly to a laptop which totally eliminates the need for a memory card.

Btw, nice video. I like the ones where it is dark the best.

I shoot in SRAW1 (to save space over RAW).

I have 3 16 GB cards. Each card will hold ~1200 SRAW1's...from which would produce ~40 seconds of 30 fps footage. On most nights I will fill up all 3 16GB cards. I don't keep everything I shoot - much of it get's culled in post.
