OT: NBA Playoffs

The media can say all they want about Bynum's emergence in the beginning, the addition of Gasol midway, and Kobe's MVP season, but I firmly believe that the Lakers would not be where they are without Fisher's voice and leadership.

He is the glue that binds them!

I second that! I was sooo happy they brought back Fish. He is clutch under pressure and hits big time shots. I can't believe the fans in Utah booed him after what he did for them last year. I was so glad the Lakers beat them for that reason alone . . . well . . . almost . . . ;)

the only thing that matters during the NBA playoff is that Kobe wins!!! and the BULLS pulling the biggest upset, yea the number 1 overall pick in the draft!!!!! 1 % chance!!!! all I want is Michael Beasely or Rose!!!!!!!

Kobe knows I only watch the 2nd half of games, nowadays. This is why he does this. He left me a voicemail, screaming...

..."Are you not entertained!?!"

I was.

BOOOOO YAAAAA Took one away game baby
Poor KG he looked so sad during the press conference :(

DEEEEEEETROOOOIT BASKETBAAAALLLLLLLLLLL

This is getting SWEET!!! The LAL come from 20 down to win game 1, and the Pistons steal a game in Boston... KG, you cant play with Sheed!!!

I think LA and Det will be a good Finals

Ooooohhhhh Man I am really looking forward to tonight's game! I'm hoping the rest of the starters bring their game this time though for the Lakers. I'm not sure about a sweep John, I think the Spurs are too good to be swept, but I really think it would be huge for the Lakers psyche if they can win tonight

Wow, the Lakers straight up man handled the Spurs tonight! I'm not sure what exactly happened, but the Spurs did look a little tired. What do you guys think it was? The Lakers defense? Age? Sleeping on a plane after a long series? I sure hope the Lakers keep this up in SA!!!

Does anyone here have the Celtic's winning on the road? I can't believe all of this talk about them not being able to do it. Just because they haven't yet, doesn't mean they can. I realize they are totally different but they had one of the best if not the best road records in the regular season!

Whoa! Was it throwback night for McDyess? It was just like his days in Denver.

Can't wait for tonights game. Some of the Laker starters need to shoot better on the road.

L.O. needs to step it up. That dude should be avg. 20/15 against the Spurs, they have no one that can match up with him!! Gasol has missed a Ton of easy shots as well.

Bynum would definitely have helped out a lot, especially on Duncan, but I think the Lakers can still win the series without him. Odem does need to step it up. I'm hoping that was just one of those "bad games" that some teams have. Hopefully tonight will be a lot more competitive!

Yeah, that game wasn't called fairly at all! No traveling by Timmy D at the end of the first?! I didn't know you could take 5 steps now in the NBA. Barry stepped up huge throughout the game. I quivered everytime he even touched the ball. Gotta tip your hat to that guy. Although i thought it was a foul at the end of the game, no ref is going to call that, especially, like the guys after the show said, if you don't sell it. Despite playing against the Spurs and the refs, the Lakers still pulled it off. Now we need to close out at home and hope the other series goes 7!!!

BS. The league is pushing for Lakers-Celtics and that last no call is just one sign of it. That was terrible. Fisher clearly jumped and not staright up Barry did the right thing. Only problem is Barry is not Kobe so he wont get the call You Know 100% Kobe would have gotten that same call
