This my favorite photo I snapped just this morning:

The tank is an old terrarium that I removed the screen top from and then re-sealed with silicone. Plants are sprouts from my 200gal goldfish pond at home. and include watter lettuce, taro, duckweed, and floating fern-like stuff. I installed a small undergravel filter and airstone as well as a heater.

I had a betta and small 2 inch plecostomous in there, but the betta jumped out after one day, and I think the pleco sufferred from cold before I got the heater.

Current inhabitants include:
2 ramshorn snails, fw copepods(hitchhikers from pond), 2 fancy guppies, a speckled corydora, and 6 or so grass shrimps. I also had a dwarf swimming frog, but he was MIA this morning.
All the plants and roots should provide good habitat and water filtration.

Lighting is just ambiant lighting from my window and office flourescents.

I know, I know.. I should have made it a nano reef, but I thought I'd try something different and not hassle with lights.

Let me know what you think.

:)
