OT: No one live at Jefferson Commons

If you ever have to live at a place, dont live at "the pointe". Used to be called Jefferson Commons. I put like 90% of my xmas gifts for all my friends in my car and was literally about to go and deliver all of them. I forgot my cell phone and i ran quickly upstairs and grabbed it and came back down. Guess what?! all my presents are gone except one large framed art i got for a friend. Now it's too late to go xmas shopping and as a college student, i can't afford to re-buy everyone more gifts. I was so into the giving mood and seriously im so freakin ****ed i really just want to sell my 125 just so i can move the freak out of here.

You didn't lock your car .. did you? That happen to my husband a few weeks ago. We forgot to lock the car after a trip to the grocery store and some punk kids were around our neighborhood that night CLEANING the cars ... they didn't take much, but we were p*** off .

And we believed we were living in a nice neighborhood.... sorry for you

no, i am normally pretty good about locking my car, but ya know, there werent any cars around and it was only for a second, but i guess thats all it takes. Regardless, i'm just really upset

I really appreciate the offer stephen but i think i will live. Just wanted everyone to know to always be aware of the crime, especially around holiday season and to lock your doors, ect ect ect.

Gimplar, someone broke my car window to steal a crappy radio while I was on vacation, Unfortunately its every apartment complex that has thieves or theives visit. O'Yea, dont ever move to here either...

Yeah, I had friends that lived at Jefferson Commons and Oh the stories they would tell! I know to because I was there alot.

I know one time, down the hall from them, some guys got into a shoot out. Although, another friend who lived in a super nice complex in Westchase had home invasions and theft.

That stuff sucks and makes you feel so powerless.

I made sure to get an apartment with an attached garage. It keeps the vagrants from cutting the top on my jeep only to find out there is nothing for them to steal!

lol yeah, i got some christmas money so i may just rebuy the gifts. It's pathetic that the holiday season, which is a time when people are actually suppose to act good for once, are always filled with people who are going to try and spoil it for the rest of us. One of the main reasons i wanted to major in criminiology.

Dang dude, that does suck. I really hate our place. Haha. Just because of that I don't go anywhere without hitting my lock button twice and hear my horn go twice. Dang, our place is so ghetto. Hopefully you get through it.

Awww man that TOTALLY BLOWS. Sorry Gimp that had to happen to you. I've been ripped off about 3 times from my car and 2x's in our garage. I know how it feels. The fact that it was christmas presents makes it a lot worse though.
