OT - Other pets

My girlfriend and I are currently setting up a fish only; however we also have a collection of reptiles which include chameleons, bearded dragons, crested geckos and 2 snakes. We also have a year old Olde English Bulldogge and 4 month old Kitten.

I've considered doing a dart frog habitat in a vertical tank, kind of like you see at the zoo. I've heard it's pretty low maintenance.

Jeez!! Nearly have a zoo!

I really really really want a chameleon and a bearded dragon. I was going to make the tanks myself out of acrylic. What is your chameleon cage(?) made out of? Maybe I'm thinking the wrong direction with a tank. (Keep in mind this is a want and when I think I'm ready, I'll be doing a TON of research).

Very nice. I always wanted a chinchilla but never got the chance to get one. The best pet I ever had was a sugar glider. Its an Australian flying squirrel. They are very affectionate and very cool to watch and play with. I used to let mine run around the living room. It would climb up the curtains and jump off of them and glide onto my shoulder. My glider was by far the best and coolest animal I ever had the privilage of calling my own.

We were told that if we got two cats they wouldn't get into as much trouble, yeah right! They remind me of the raccoons in that old movie "Uncle Buck", they're into everything. The cham is very cool, he is the fourth one we've had.

Thought I would revive this old thread with some updated pics of my puppy...well not so puppy anymore. Here is a before an after shot of him. When he was 2 months vs yesterday, he is now 5 months. Gonna be a big great dane!
