OT: Pentax optio waterproof camera

Has anybody ever used this? I might buy one of these for surfing with my friends. It almost seems too good to be true. Does it even operate in saltwater?? Any infor is greatly appreciated...

I think it is a cool little camera for the price! I had it in Hawaii and it was in the water every day it takes great shots out of the water I think for surfing it would br great I paid around 250?
