OT: ps3's nobody waiting in line for any of these?

I can't believe whats going on for the ps3's!. People are in tents at wal-mart, best-buy..etc waiting on these. I guess they wouldn't be able to respond to this if they were in line, but anyone expect to have one tomorrow?

Unless they have been waiting since a ew days ago they are wasting time. They have only shipped 400,000 to the U.S. which breaks down to something like 25 per store. People are getting $2000 for them on ebay.

yea thats the only reason I was thinking about waiting in line for them. But I figured I would be wasting my time if I went today. I would like to cop about 10 at 6bills each. The profit would make a pretty nice starting reef

I was thinking the same thing the other night when i was at eb games. All the ones they are getting were preordered tho.

Oh the days, i used to have a few friends who were crazy enough about that crap to wait.... i just hung out with them LOL. even Ebay is crackin down on sales, you have to have 50 positive comments and a 98% rating to even list one, and then only one. I like the smart guys who hired a couple of bums to wait in line for them now that is creative thinking

yea and its not like these things are being given away, they are still pretty expensive at 600.00 each! I couldn't afford to buy one to play with, I was just considernig it a rock solid investment..lol

those requirements on ebay were for listing preordered ps3's, I think

Yeah, people have been waiting since monday in line. Also, Sony decreased the number to 330,000 because they are sending 70,000 to canada.im goign down to walmart to pic up some super glue, i guess i might as well look at the line...these are the times where i wish i didnt have a life and could wait in line for a week.

The Wal Mart by me said they were only getting two machines in, thats right, only two and writing rain checks for eight more only, I feel bad for the eleventh person in line...........

Im back already.....LOL. The Target buy me only got 8. 6 good ones and 2 regular ones. I showed up as #10 and left. I think they based how many go to each store buy the sales volume they have done with previous playstation products. There is supposed to be a 2nd shipment in december too.

How much money will it take to camp out in walmart for 4 days .....thats the big question?

I camped out when the PS2's came out a few years and vowed to never do it again for a videogame sustem especially with the PS3's because I hear 1/2 the games will not boot up right out of the box and you have to download patches and drivers to correct the problems. I love new technology.

Thats crazy triggerfish1976...TTRex I heard that the December shipment is going to the peopl that waited on that long line in order that they came. They are not going to bring them out to the shelves. We are never going to know if they even received them...
Just curious, did anyone get one?
