Ok, so this is one for the books...

I took my Tunze out to clean and shelve. Apparently it was moved into another room, and my little dog, Joey (he's 70lbs) decided he liked tunze..so he ate it. The motor side is fine, but the front belle is toast and I got it from him before he could start in on the impeller.

Now I have the "My dog ate my Tunze" story...ugh!

WOW!......that is one expensive chew toy! but each to his own :) :) ;)

Ohm he has already eaten 1/2 a furniture set, and $300.00 pair of earphones, and 2 pairs of glasses. Mind you msot of thatw as 6 months ago..but tonight well, I can either laugh or cry. It's only a tunze..now if it were one of my vortechs.....different story.

whoa Andy....$300 earphones? I picked up a pair for 90 dollars a while back and asked myself all the way home, why I did that. But you need to get your dog some dentures and take his teeth with you when you leave the house :)

 That's a great idea, Norman!

I am ashamed to admit I've paid more than $300 for headphones before, though. And if I had started working, I would have paid around $1000 for earphones! :eek2:

Andy,

I can relate to you there. My girl husky, when she was a pup, she ate my $2000 bed frame, ate my brand new furniture set that cost well over $2000, ate my leather rug, rip up carpet, and more. She's lucky I didn't choke her! But she is the sweetest baby right now at 5 years old. When I got the baby boy husky, I know better! I crate train him so he wouldn't destroy my furniture. Now he and the evil chihuahua pees on every single freakin' corner of everything...... Now we're ripping up carpets ourselves to rid that mess and change everything to pergo flooring for easy cleaning with 3 dogs.....

my dad had a chow that liked to chew on furniture. my dad worked 12 hr shifts, so one day on his way out, he put a bottle of tobasco sauce on the table leg the dog wouldn't quit chewin on & left a very small amount of water in the dish.....dog never chewed on the furniture again

LOL

Keep in mind he doesn;t do this while we are gone..we use a sfot mesh muzzle on him for that. He did this right behinbd our backs here, in the same room. We were oggling the new Blue Spotted Jawfish and heard crunch crunch...

LOL I have three bulldogs so I assure you I know what everyone one of you have went through. Im not even going to take the time now to type in all the stuff they have chewed up. I will say this though. One of them got one of my wifes high heels and chewed it up. Well about a week goes by and the dog gets back in there. And with only say over 100 shoes to choose from the dog gets the same matching high heel from the week before. That was kind of weird but then the same exact thing happened again. Chewed one of her heels up again and then a week or so later went back in and got the same matching one again. So funny. Youd think shed remember to keep the closet shut. I guess shes proud she didnt throw the other heel away when the first one got chewed up or Im sure the dog would have just got another one. Weird but funny. Just dont tell her I said that. lol

I will refrain from telling you my thoughts about a dog that chews things up. Lets just say remember the last meeting at the house.:uzi:
