Hey guys I just thought you might like to see the pond and all as it is now into the summer season. I shot this and edited it on an iphone. A little shaky so best viewed small so you don't get seasick. For those not patient (4:30 long) There are some fish seen at the end!!

Now to perfect the iphone or put the darn thing on a tripod.

Tank wise I am still going but with the economy haven't done much lately. My new bulbs are in and things seem happy but I still battle aptasia and I have a suspicious bare spot where I am still paranoid about those slugs.

I may put a new sump under my Clownfish tank and the a skimmer but all in good time as my budget is very small at the moment.

Ken haven't thrown a line in the water as I have been battling some vertigo issues, but the Drs are working on it and I plan on some trips soon.

Enjoy the vid and enjoy the rest of the summer...Craig.

Wow Craig and Erin you guys have done so much work out there. It all looks great. Great to see the fish feeding at the end. I could sit and watch a pond like this for ages. Nice job.

very nice! we're going to be re-doing our backyard in a summer or two, and you've got me thinking whether or not we could fit something similar into the space we have to work with... very inspiring video - thanks!

Thanks guys.

Justin any time you want to prune just come on by:)
Peewee I have gotten good service from the Pond Place at the junction of 116 and Stony Point. Nice people and they have good ideas.

I plan to do a better video to show the size a bit better, those bass feeding at the end are getting pretty big now probably at least 2-3 pounders and they look like minnows in the video.

Nate my yard is 18 feet wide by 100feet long. You can make it fit anywhere just have someone else dig it is my advice.:headwally:

Thanks Ken, he is the king of the pond, guards it against all other dragonflies and I think he is friends with the bass as well. One afternoon my wife and I were eating lunch and here he comes after a beautiful blue dragon dive bombing it till it got near the water until ..sploosh!! a bass leaps out of the water and just misses it as it flies out of the yard to safety. I am sure it was planned.

Troutonmyline with a name like that you must be awesome.:beachbum:
( may be fly-fishing woods lake in the sierra Saturday) I will look up the amps and wattage of my pump later for you but it only raised my PGE bill about $25 and it is a 4200 gph submersible pump. I am fixing the small amount of water evap by using my waste RO and a little amount of tap. I should end up ahead in water as I am taking out my grass in Petaluma's program. It is pretty good, if you qualify you get free mulch, compost and cardboard to eliminate your lawn. About $50 of free stuff from a local irrigation store to help you convert and 5 free plants from a local nursery.

Yeah Grant I know,:debi: another project...will it ever end.Hey wait that first yellow guy looks alot like my wife!! (gosh i hope she never reads these posts....)
