OT- Tankless water heater?

They can only be vented to the chimney if the intake and exhaust pvc goes to the top of the chimney. May be easier to go out a wall with a termination kit. My company installs navien. Much cheaperer then other companies like buderus but theyre it think 92% compared to 97,98. Be sure to have a circ loop.

That post is a little above my pay grade ;)
If I understand, in order to vent through my existing chimney breech, I would have to have a PVC chimney inside my brick chimney all the way to the roof?
I can picture what you mean by a termination kit, but that's much less than ideal for me. Not much wall space available, and the existing gas line goes right to the chimney.
I'm not sure I understand a circulation loop.

I think the best thing to do is to have some one come over and see it.Than they can give your options. Instead of every one trying to explain it.Than you can decide.

I work for anderson air (hvac). Were in center moriches. Most of our work is in the hamptons but we have a few customers west of us.
To the op i agree with getting someone in there to see whats options are available

I've always been a DIY guy, but I can see where I'd benefit from having someone that knows what they're doing take a look.

The PVC vent is only allowed a certain amount of elbows. It is a pretty easy install if you've done it before. If not....I'd call someone. I've put in a bunch and never heard about anyone not being happy with it.

What's the reason for extending the PCV to the top of the chimney?
