OT: where do the bucks go from here

We weren't winning a BCS Championship the minute we lost to USC. Nothing was spoiled yesterday that wasn't spoiled long ago.

We wernt winning a BCS Championship even if we had beat USC. But I respectfully disagree with the last part of this.

I think that loss was a huge hit to our program, Not only did it possibly cost us a Big ten title and a BCS bowl game...

We are going to have a hard time recruiting with this guy as QB. What 4-5 star recruit would want to come play for this offense?? Certainly not any wide receivers or running backs!! As a matter of fact, we might lose some of the players we already have...

Joe Bauserman should have been put in that game and he should be starting the rest of the season but we all know it wont happen.

Honestly, I dont think the kid should be playing football period. His best bet of making millions might be in the NBA.

Aptasia Bowl the only thing worth while in this thread. I think they ought to get rid of the big ten and 12 and just make them all play each other and see who prevails in the end. Nah Really I just am sick of hearing about football I will shut up now goodluck next week buckeyes.

does OSU still have a chance at the Rose Bowl? let's say we beat PSU and UofM. If we beat Iowa, does that make us the big10 champs?

I have not sat down and looked at who has already played who and what is left.

I am guessing that our fate is far from in our own hands though, tough place to be for a group of young men who have dreamed their whole lives to play football here.

Its Monday and I am done complaining. Now looking for next Saturday and what is controllable for the Bucs. And you bet I will be glued to the TV or radio if my wife has another surprise list for me to cope with LOL

We should be able to control our own destiny if we WIN OUT. We beat Iowa for their one loss, but we get the nod since we beat them.

Too bad I expect to lose at least two more games >>> Unless Tressel does something un-Tressel and put in Bauserman. I fully expect Pryor to at least start this Saturday. I'll be byotching from the A-deck. It could get ugly this week. I can see the Boo-birds coming to roost.

I love this banter. Do you know why the Buckeyes win a lot of games every year? Because of items said in this thread. We have such high expectations and passion for the Buckeyes and flip out when they are not met. The players know this and I guarrentee they work harder in practice because thousands of people will flip out if they are not prepared. I hate when like a fan (as an example) Illinios tell me that I am over reacting and " you can't win the big ten every year". I say why not. This is why your Illinois and we are OSU because your fans are ok with average.

Well said: That is the difference between programs and a single year good team. ESPN doesn't rip on BGSU for finishing 2 in the MAC

I thought this was pretty funny

I would not go that far at all, TP sure has growing room but he is also coping with the number three running back, and recievers that are new to him as well.

only one turn over today is a step (not a big step but a step)

As usual I missed a good bit of the game (but don't mind today thanks to Mark Vera) but it sounded like the o-line did well as did the Defense

I like the way it seems that TP bounced back from a really bad last week. To me that is growth: better body language, patient with a slow first half, not getting down with a dumb play near the end of the first half,

Winning a game we are supposed to win is growth too
