Looking for someone that works for or knows how to install whole house water filter systems + water softener.

I'm thinking about installing a whole house water filter + water softener system. healthy, soft water for me. extra chlorine/chloramines filter for the tank.

I'm looking at the APEC Water brand. Currently use their high Alkaline water filter for drinking water. good product so far.

let me know if you work in this field. Thanks

I'm also curious about having an alkaline PH+ water for the fish tank.

if topping off with alkaline water, would that raise tank PH?

i'm very interested too. about to ditch my RO drinking water system and install my own RO/DI (RO for drinking, tapped off for RO/DI for tank). We used to have a water softener system we ditched, but if this takes care of all that, I'm all ears...

I have a whole house system. I actually was going to buy it from Apec, but found a similar system way cheaper.
I got it from http://www.aquascience.net/.

I read you should only use 0 ppm rodi water for top off and salt mixing. Since you can't control minerals in the added filter.

Currently my first year with the system, I have 2 RO systems in the house , once for drinking water and the other has DI filter for the tank.

Heres the thing. Its all for the most part a waste of money. Nothing softens water without salt. So all those chemical containers are all bs. Its not going to save your appliances or give you better water some even have phosphate in them to keep the calcium from binding. I sell alot of commercial plumbing and these dont work the way they say they are going to work. I just has a sales man at the shop pushing a new system when I questioned him about installing it in the tankless systems we do he had no answers on who's going to cover the warranty if they cause leaks from the hard water. Your best bet would be to get a house filter with resin. If you want soft water you need a salt system. That would require you to separate your plumbing.
Mostly all your garden bibs.
