OT wildlife pics

Jenn and I were in Foley this weekend and took some bird shots. I got most of the Osprey shots and night scenes. She got most of the heron shots. We had a great weekend for fishing and photography.

But where are the "hero pictures" of you and your fish that you caught?

What equipment were you using?? (for the photos that is) :>)

We forgot to get any of the fish we caught. They were being fileted as soon as they got home (we had to get back to Montgomery). It is Foley, Al.

I was using a Canon XTi and a Canon 70-200mm L IS with a 1.4X extender.

Ospreys are so cool. i used to see them all the time when i lived in fl..they are the true fisherman

Started off for Sheeps head, but reds and specks, primarily. I wouldn't have passed up a flounder, though. Live shrimp were all that brought bites for us. We lucked into some shrimp was soon as we got the boat in the water (someone else was leaving and still had some).
