Im going to try and hit the woods this weekend, that is if I can pry my feet off the golf course, I skipped the entire opening weekend and played 54 holes. I have a problem I think.

Nice turk brother. Havent been hunting in years.

Thanks, you should definately get out in the woods. I recommend it for anyone. Even if its not to hunt.

+1 on that. I love just sitting in the woods. It's more exciting to just sit there, see what comes by and relax for a couple hours just thinking than it is to shoot something. Love turkey hunting but I'm not going out this spring.

Got skunked on Sundee, didn't have enough time due to Mom's day ( a valid excuse). Lots of action in the am early, but I think they all "henned up" and didn't move. Couldn't wait em out.

We'll get out and get after it next weekend.

Any luck with the bow?

That's what it's all about! Father and son out together. Awesome!

I didn't think we'd get anything with the time limit we had. But I thought it'd be better to get up and get out there and enjoy the outdoors, rather than lay in bed wondering what might have happened.

great bird gobi. had my son out sat morn to scout behind the house. he had more fun listening to owls. ran into poachers, and called it quits. gettin tough to find property to hunt.

I've seen and heard them consistently. just can't get them out of the neighboring land owners field. watched this tom go full strut everytime I called for like an hour and never step foot out of the field. guess he wanted me to come to him.

my father said he saw 2 toms with 8+ inch beards 10 yards off the deck a couple weeks ago. I'm gonna go out there this weekend and see what I can do.

I haven't had much time lately to get out, even though I'm going to regret it once May is gone. Oh well October will be here before I know it.

I will get out at least a couple more times this month though, and I'll have my bow next to me.
