I saw this clip a few weeks back. IMO those guys are very similar to drug addicts... They are so addicted to the adrenaline that they will push the envelop further and further as they no longer just get the rush from jumping off the cliff cuts it they want to fly close to the cliff... there is eventually so little room for error that any even the slightest down draft can very easily lead to an accident. An accident doing this is sure death!!!
