Hi everyone, and thanks for stopping by to view/comment on our new upgrade.
It's 60' x 36' x 30" (LxWxH) 3/4" starphire with dual external overflow. 1.25" drains and 1" returns, eurobraced. It came with an extruded aluminum stand and finished furniture.
Equipment for this tank so far:
2 Tunze 6100 on 7095 controller
2 Vortech with battery backup
2 Wavysea
2 Iwaki 70 for the returns
Geo 624 calcium reactor
2 large Lumenbright (likely 400 watt)
4 110W VHO
H&S A200 x 2 1260 skimmer
Aquamedic nitrate reactor
Ozone
UV
Aqua Jr with dc8 and dc4
misc media creators
sump/fuge
I am currently working on the plumbing, right now the 2 drains are on separate line, I am likely merge them together into a 2" pipe and T it off to feed the skimmer and such. This way the drain from each overflow will take part in feeding the skimmer.
Next up I'll be working on the sump, it was build without a fuge section.
Here are some pics of the current tank, most of the livestock will be move over to the new one when it's ready.
Here is the new one.
Tank
Doors installed
Main sump
Top off
Return pumps
Light rack installed, this one come with the tank and it was designed to flip up if needed, however, my ceiling is not that tall so I am likely to not use this rack and build a light rail that can move left or right.
Some plumbing
