Hi everyone, and thanks for stopping by to view/comment on our new upgrade.

It's 60' x 36' x 30" (LxWxH) 3/4" starphire with dual external overflow. 1.25" drains and 1" returns, eurobraced. It came with an extruded aluminum stand and finished furniture.

Equipment for this tank so far:

2 Tunze 6100 on 7095 controller
2 Vortech with battery backup
2 Wavysea
2 Iwaki 70 for the returns
Geo 624 calcium reactor
2 large Lumenbright (likely 400 watt)
4 110W VHO
H&S A200 x 2 1260 skimmer
Aquamedic nitrate reactor
Ozone
UV
Aqua Jr with dc8 and dc4
misc media creators
sump/fuge

I am currently working on the plumbing, right now the 2 drains are on separate line, I am likely merge them together into a 2" pipe and T it off to feed the skimmer and such. This way the drain from each overflow will take part in feeding the skimmer.

Next up I'll be working on the sump, it was build without a fuge section.

Here are some pics of the current tank, most of the livestock will be move over to the new one when it's ready.

Light rack installed, this one come with the tank and it was designed to flip up if needed, however, my ceiling is not that tall so I am likely to not use this rack and build a light rail that can move left or right.

Very nice Anthony and well planned...love your cabinet colors and how you build it in as a furniture...the wife will love it :)

Very cool, love the dimensions!

Your "old/current" tank looks awesome too! What are the dims on that tank? 72"x30"x24"?

Thanks guys.

Ed, she is waiting to aquasccape the tank, my 7 days work week is slowing things down a little bit.

Mark, you and Tim probably have all my backup :) I might have a piece or two that you can back up though.

stunreefer, the current tank is 8' x 2' x 2' (LxWxH). We gain a bit of width and height with this new one.

tacocat, yeah, can't agreed more. That's why we gave up what we really want (8' x 3' x 2') for this one.

I am working on the drain plumbing still, deciding if I should have sand and macro algea in the secondary sump or just macro algea only and leave the sand in the main sump.

Here are some update pics of the light rail. I am just using the closet sliding door rail, still have to add the bracket for VHO.

In order for the wheels to stay in place I have to add another piece of wood to the back and pushed it up high into the rail.
