Our 375g reef tank build & fish room

Don't tempt me!!!! I'll prep the guest room and restock the beverage center in a heart beat for high caliber assitance like Ed!

 Well thank you Bax...

We would love to help you, but it would have to be after the of next year. Ed used up all of his vacation fishing in the Bahamas. :wavehand:

Thank you so much for waking up this thread... We will post a new video of the tank soon :)

A lot of changes have occured in the fish room, we have become very successful with breeding and raising Banggai Cardinal Fish and our new adventure of raising Clown Fish larvae :)

Videos will be posted soon.

Glad to wake up the sleeping giant. I can't wait for people to see the new video. The growth you have had since the last video is unreal.

Thanks for sharing. The nerd in me cannot get over the genius lighting rig. So simplistic yet so very functional.

That YouTube video is beautiful! Cant wait to see up dates! Nice work Sandy!

Bax,
Thank you so much :)
How's it going on your system?

This video was taken in August, I just haven't had time to share it on this forum.... :worried:
This thread has been asleep for awhile now. I'm glad to see it awake :celeb3:

We have been super busy with raising Banggai Cardinal fish and now have finally ventured into raising clown fish. I have always wanted to try raising these babies, just didn't have the courage to do so... Our first batch we raised we have 147 survivors. :eek2:
We currently have 60 Banggai babies and one of my males is holding a mouth full of eggs again.. This male usually produces 20-30 fry per batch.
Ed is working on remodeling the fish room again for a brood stock - grow out system.

Wish you could come down and help... hint... hint...

The north and west wall are being remolded. The seahorse tank on the west wall is moving to the north wall along with the brood stock - grow out system.
I see lots of work ahead of us.

Thank you, yes the light rack is very functional, one of "my" better ideas....
Being able to move the light rack out of the way for routine maintenance on the tank, makes the maintenance more enjoyable...

Congrats, guys. I just noticed Ed's name is missing. Can't wait to read the article and see the tank again. A well deserved recognition.

Nice and clean fish room! And roomy

Just Curious, what are the sizes of your cisterns that you use to hold your RO/DI water and saltwater mixing tank? I am just wondering what size to go with on my build.

Thanks,

Wayne
