Nice...I think there is enough room for a 600.. heehehehhe

I wish!
I don't think Ed will let me have a tank that size

This morning the building material arrived, the driver backed his BIG truck down the driveway and the bed lifted and off came the material

after that excitement the plumber came.. his job is tough, the city would not let us connect to the existing waste lines so he had to dig up a good part of my front yard and under the driveway, yes I said under the driveway, then along the drive way, under another concrete wall to tie into the new waste line.... they were here over 8 hours and their still not done... MAN did I feel sorry for him and my wallet!

here is what it looks like so far.....

You are certainly right about our neighbors, they know that we have 2 tanks and that I maintain them..
they see me outside cleaning stuff outside all the time..
so actually, they are happy for me to see!...
they are almost excited as much as I am about this whole thing becoming automated.
also they are happy to see Ed go REEF!... when they do come over every ones looks at my tank not his hehehehe

I live in Atlantic Beach.

The framing is done on the fish room, waiting on the inspector come and inspect the walls and the roof.
Now we have to move both tanks off the existing wall and put one on each side of the pool table.... I wish I could sell Ed's tank so we only have to move it one time!

Hey Sandy I am still waiting for keith to send me a drawing of the floor plan.I was talking to Mike (Mdpharley) and the gradeing in your fish room is going to prove tricky when building the stand.

Email me and let me know whats going on,I havent heard back from you .

A lot of construction going on in the fish room.
The roof was installed and passed inspection!
We have all the plumbing in, all the electrical was finished today & will be inspected tomorrow.
The AC guys will be here on Thursday.
The sinks, counter tops & cabinets will be installed next week.
We moved the 135 FOWLR tank today and the 120 reef tank tomorrow. THEN they will make a HUGE hole in the wall for the tank. We will start to build the stand on Wednesday or Thursday (Thanks Alpine)
All of the material arrived today to start building the light rack, our original plan was to build a light rack 90"x30"
(thanks Glassreef for all your help!)
after looking & looking at the room we decided to split the rack so it moves completely away from the tank.
We will take pics of the progress.
The lights will be here hopefully by this weekend.

Looks like it's moving along Sandy !!
YES, finally!
We are actually having 5 inspection on the room today!:o
could not tell you what they are, I really know of 1 :p

We are moving the reef tank today, I think I'm going to let Ed and our maintaince guy do the work

I'm going to my daughters house today to help her finish the babies nursery.
Guess what her theme is for the nursery??

WOW, came a long way since I last checked in...I love builds that go beyond building a stand and setting the tank on it (like my next build :o ). Keep up the great work!

BTW your house is gorgeous!!!

I too feel bad for that plumber; back in the day I installed Koi ponds, waterfalls and such, and we had to dig under a few driveways....never again!!!

Hi Sandy - looks like you've definitely got eveything under control. You and I ordered exacly the same components from Neptune - right down to going for the lab grade conductivity probe. That Deltec is a nice skimmer!

How's Ed doing with the light rack? I really like the idea of making two racks and setting up the slides to the side. Can't wait to see pics of your progress.:)

I LOVED the Neptune web site.. Ed had to pull me away!

The Stand is almost completed, I'll try and post pictures tonight.
The windows and doors are almost finished and the dry wall is supposed to be done today!
gosh I really hope so!
Our grandson is due tomorrow! so I'll be busy going to the hospital to him oh, yes, my daughter too!

Yes, I really enjoy that skimmer, esp. the self cleaning head!

We are going to start the light rack this week, I'll keep you posted.

Hey! Huge congratulations on the imminent birth of your grandson! Just a wee bit more important than an aquarium, I guess ...:D
