I am so sorry to hear about this - is your insurance carrier covering this? Sometimes these companies can be difficult covering claims that aren't the usual run of the mill stuff. I would be happy to talk to you and give you some ideas for dealing with them if you need help. Best of luck getting everything put back together!

Terribly sorry to hear what happened! If I had something to offer, I would but I don't except for my condolences. Best of luck, keep us updated on the new tank!!

Well the tank and stand are at their new home. Just wanting to wish you the best of luck getting it up and running. Keep us posted on the progress. And if you have any questions, just let us know. We are more that happy to put our two cents in.
Post pict soon. If you still can't figure it out. maybe I didn't explain it right. there is a thread here that will give you a step by step explanation. I am not sure where it is, but someone here will get it for you.

They have tank and stand. Talking with them this morning I believe the emperor filter they had is still going to work. They said they have the LR in someones tank keeping it safe. But I think that was all they could save. They still my need lights, and or other odds and ends.
I would say if you have something collecting dust in a closet and you don't need it any more, just post it here maybe they could use it. Because the tank that was smashed was a 55 gal, and the tank they got was a 75. So some of the equipment they have may not work on the bigger tank.

Ok, I have a this to offer:
A 55 gallon drum for RO water or saltwater makeup. Or two of them if needed.
1) Rena Cal top light excel 150 watts.
1) Wavemaster Pro microprossor pump controler. p1 or p2 didn't work last year when I was using it.
You will have to PM me if you want this stuff. Or pm IM LON 2 he's my best friend and he'll yell at me.
Sorry to hear of your lost. I can't believe that they would toss a chair through a fish tank, but I guess they wanted to hurt you in some way and knew this was one way of doing it. What loser's are they in life.

Thanks to everyone, the out pouring of help has been unexpected to say the least. a special thanks to pewter jean for the stand. If you have never seen her tank, well its beautiful ,one of the nices set ups I have seen! I still dont really understand what a sump system or how they work ,but she did and it shows. will my emperor 400 be enough filter for the 75gal ? It was unharmed, and my skimmer is ok I think. I have an extra 48" Jebo light (220 or 240w) if you need a temporary setup. Not a great fixture, but will do in a snap. The bulbs work, but need replacing - they're old and a bit dim.
I also have a very chubby 6 line wrasse you are welcome to adopt once your tank cycles. Hes a great fish - very healthy and greedy, but not one to keep with extremely docile fish (he nipped my firefish, thus he is in a spare tank alone.) I can't add him into my fish only tank because I have a pseudochromis already, so at the moment he's feeling a little lonely in the 20g. Would love to give him a good home -- he's absolutely gorgeous as far as 6-lines go. Supercolored, and he would eat a dirty sock if you threw it in the tank as dinner.

If you want something better than the Emperor 400, I have a few Rena XP3 Canister Filters that I am no longer using and I will donate one for you if you want it. I had bought 2 for my 135 and ihad one running on a 75g and they did a great job, and I only used them for about 3 months before the tank was poisoned and I tore it down. My cell is 314-566-8188 if you want a new filter.
