Glad to hear you got the same tank! Okay the overflow boxes on my tank could not keep up with a Iwaki RL70T the 2 top bands of the tank were submerged in the water, when you looked up it looked like crap, there is two black braces in the water! I cut the teeth down 2" and I cut out every other tooth on the straining plate. The problem was fixed and the water level is under the bands by aprx 1/2". I really dislike these overflows on this tank but.... I got a deal on the tank, that is what it had and I was too chicken to drill the tank! I have a friend who cut his out and drilled the back with 1" 1/2 bulkheads. AWSOME it really shows the depth on his tank. My tank sits on a concrete slab we dont have a basement so I got off cheap. The lights are 4" off the water I use single ended bulbs, 20k radiums 250w. The reflectors are lummenMax 2 with uv shields. I put the glass shields on to avoid water stains on the reflective finish on the reflectors, when the fish splash around. The spread is perfect with these reflectors. Closed loop is a up and over using another Iwaki RL70T. I am taking pic's of all the light stuff today I will get them posted today. Again Thank You to everyone for the nice complements!WOW. All I can say is WOW. Thanks for posting the pics!!
In the planning stages of setting up the exact same tank.
Is the tank sitting on an I-beam, or did you have to reinforce the floor underneath?
When you talk of the overflow returns issue, how much bigger did you make the spacing between the teeth?
Is your closed loop drilled through the bottom, or come in over the back side?
Given the width of the tank, do you feel you get even coverage with 3 MH's sitting so close to the water's surface? Would you be happier if you could have the lights mounted higher?
The tank has been set up now for 8 months. The Livestock has been established for well over 13 years. The tank is packed and we are now looking to upgrade to a larger tank. I thought I would share some of the pics we have from start to current date.

I love the aquascaping here!
Thank you my friend Feel free to stop by anytime! The stand and canopy are marineland. One thing I like is the sides are removable on the stand to get a sump in and out or get to your pumps. Also to answer mikesubareef I do not use a chiller the large surface area is great for evaporation cooling. The tank evaporates 7 gallons a day and gets topped off using a Reefanatics ATO and the reserve tank is a 30 gallon tank. I went with a small reserve do to the event somthing goes wrong and say all 30 gallons get pumped into the tank, it will change my salinity from 25 to 23. 2=4in Fans blow in on one side and 2=4in fans blow out on the other side. The tank stay 80 degrees all year round so far! Thanks for the nice comments fellas!I have to agree. The aquascaping is fantastic. I live on the edge of Liberty so if you ever need assistance of any kind, feel free to get ahold of me.
