Carol - You know there was only a little sand from my existing tanks in the fuge. All of it was new live and play. So there isn't a whole lot of pop in it. I just had a couple tangs I got from a friend. I put them in the display so I can do the move. I might not be able to do it this weekend since I need to order another 2 in bulkhead. I wonder if there is a place local that has them. I doubt it. It looks like another order for savko.
dog- Thanks. It is a lot of work. Truly amazing how some of the people here have the systems they do with there families. An enormous amount of work, research, time, and money.
Alright I am going to make a list an order some plumbing parts. This weekend I am going to pick up the 100 or 1500 rubber maid. Thanks everyone again for the input.
Oh yeah.. I am starting to have second thoughts about using the foam in my display. I started on one of the overflows yesterday so I can get the aquascape done. With putting the rest of my fish in the display I want to make sure they have enough places to hide. I also think adding new fish while moving stuff around helps out with the aggression from the older fish. My concern is if the foam will eventually down the road leach anything into the tank. It really sucks because I already started and like the way it is starting to come out. People have been talking about it on Tiggys thread with the foam. I noticed some film on the top of my nano when I put it in. I know there wasn’t enough flow. And thought that was part of it. I didn’t clean the sand or crushed coral before I glued it to the pillar and the water was murky but it did clear up. I just don’t want to do anything to my live stock.
