How long are you going to go Brian, before you'll feel safe adding fish?
That is a good question Pat! I don't know
I have two clownfish in QT right now, and they have been there for almost 2 months, so they are ready to go. But I'm leery of adding them first in case any cpods are left, they are so small they would probably die from a cpod attack and that clownfish breeder is out of breeding now.
But, I can't add a different fish directly to the main tank, so I would then have to go with 3 fish in a 8 gal QT tank for 4 weeks.
I'm going to think about it after school and Christmas are over. I would welcome any suggestions for another fish
Some I'm considering are:
sunrise dottybacks (probably not, eat too many pods)
royal gramma (supposed to be added last from what I hear)
scooter blenny (might make mantis food?)
neon gobies
I really like Pat's angel (forget the name Pat, a little help?)
mandarin (definitely easy target for cpods)
banjii cardinal
I might also buy a cheap fish I'm not planning on keeping and either give it back to the store or give away to another reefer.
If anyone knows of any completely reef safe fish(small), feel free to suggest!
