Kinlayan,

Greetings. Happy New Year and all the best to you and your family.

Seeing a new video of your tank was like seeing an old friend. Your tank is so consistently beautiful. Your dedication and skill in keeping it shows in the health and beauty of all the inhabitants.

Hats off to you. You are one of the best.

Cheers,
Bruce

wow! how did I miss this one. amazing fish collection and
Cape Town...warm sunshine, now is the cold winter time in Canada.

WOW, that is an awesome tank with all kinds of fish. The addition of the caps into the main display definately brings out the color. Great job on the tank and may you continue to have success in your tank

Hi,

Just read the entire thread an amazing build, would loved to know what your neighbors were thinking when they saw the concrete get delivered over their roofs ;)

I noted you were talking about adding an external Macro refugium and a chiller, any progress on this or still an idea planing stage?

Well done, a great thread, nicely updated and the story telling is great. Keep up the great work.

Cheers

Elliot- I could probably improve on how i built the dividers but i must say they offer me 2 display refugiums incorporated into the main display and the benefits are so numerous from a biological point of view that it has enabled me to achieve things that one display can not, from an aesthetic point of view it could be improved on no doubt but im happy with how it turned out for my first run!

kenghmoob- thank you for your words of encouragement!

Nemeziz_za- thanks for reading and encouraging me! Yeah chiller etc is still in planning stages , hope i can get to it soon.

How's the tank getting along any pics or updates?

We heading into winter now so I imagine the chiller is on the back burner and a problem only to be thought of again in 6 or 7 months :)

have you had any difficulty with your achilles getting Ich? I have found them to be Ich magnets!
