Out of Africa (picture intensive)

very nice photos..

btw, I picked up a copy of Dynamic Aquaria per your suggestion, very good read on algae turf scrubbers, thanks

thank you Elliot, Yes Dynamic aquaria very interesting read, i do believe that scrubbers are under utilized in home aquariums for the really awesome filtration they provide but i still believe a combination of skimming , scrubbers and live rock is the best filtration if they are correctly sized. My scrubber is undersized for my system but definitely helps if it is properly maintained.

I am so happy for you Kinlayan:wave:these pic's say it all, such an effort and a good result in the end.

Wow, Kinlayan simply stunning to see all those angels swimming together and striking a pose. Really loving what you have achieved.

I have all but one angel, a majestic....and i've been nursing him in my frag tank for about two months now still very shy after getting a beating from my powder blue. Hope to though still get him introduced to the DT.

Thanks Adee! Once you get hooked on angelfish they dont let go! divide a portion of tank with eggcrate and then try to introduce him for a week with the divider should go better then , your tank is looking wonderful!

Truly amazing tank, love all the fish. Sad to hear about the clown trigger. I'm hoping my clown trigger stays a peaceful one like yours was....so many stories of them turning psycho and eating everything. Any tips if he does start turning aggressive. He's 2inches now in a community 300g(uk) reef tank.

Thanks man! That does sound like a good plan, will get some egg crate this afternoon. I'm so over keeping tangs now, would much prefer rather keeping some angels in the tank. Go for less fish in total, but then have showcase looking fish.

Just went through the enire thread

:rollface::rollface::rollface::rollface:

What an amazing tank!!!!!!!Sorry to hear about the deaths!

I hope there are no bad news for you from now on!!!!

emdr888 - Clown triggers are usually different personalities so the only tip i can give is to let nature take its course and you will soon find out whether you have a terror or a puppy

Amfynn- looking forward to seeing your tank with it's angel inhabitants

Crazy Beaver- thank you, for taking the time to read it all! I also hope it will go well , but this hobby has ups and downs.

My latest addition the Conspic is showing more spunk and cheekiness , this morning it nipped the French Angel's tail and got a grunt and a very annoyed chase from the french which is 10 times its size!

It also seems to be fattening up abit - very glad about that considering how hard it was to get it feeding

prop-frags -Thank you!, it is now eating all the Frozen Formula foods from Ocean Nutrition and Nori and the occasional Nls pellet.IT still wont touch
Mysis though ;)

Nice pic's from a super fish Kinlayan:eek1:

My conspic eats everything, still there are two corals in the tank where he now and then nips on,both are hyacinthus and i gues he is nipping some coralslime from them.

Jawsee- thank you , your aquarium is a huge inspiration as are your husbandry skills! I love that you keep both Sps and Angels - what an achievement! I am sure there is much one could learn from you !

The Conspic is truly a special fish i agree but mine was a particularly difficult individual to get feeding , i have seen others eat pellets from day one but i got a real fussy one!

Beautiful and bold fish. I can't believe he took a swipe at your FA, that thing is a beast! Any chance you could post an updated pic of it? I watched that one video of yours countless times just to see that monster of a fish enter the shot!

 on your tank. Definitely a beautiful set up I keep having to check in on.

Cheers, fingers crossed and trap waiting, which I hope I won't have to use. Btw another beautiful addition.....makes me think get a big skimmer to home a few more fish
