I make some covers for my overflows out of the same color acrylic that the overflows were made from.

Why does it need to be flexable?

I lread somewhere on here about a Guy who used his 2 overflows as DSB filled them with sand just under the overflow plumbing so the sand wouldnt get sucked in that way if a fish jumped In wouldnt have far to go and you got the extra filtration

Go to your nearest Walmart or Target, get a black clipboard, remove the clips and stuff, cut it in half hot-dog style, and then you can trim the edges to make it look better. What kind of overflow is it? If it's a Megaflow overflow, there will be a small gap between the trim of the tank and the overflow's acrylic, and you can side the clipboard flat against the back and get a nice fit.

Or, there's a guy on eBay that makes them for the Megaflow's as well. I bought one for my 90, and plan to get more for my 120. They have pieces of acrylic glued on so the lid doesn't slide around, perfect fit.

Sorry to bring back an old thread, but do you have the guy's name? I remember seeing these and was going to order a pair for myself and had a fellow club member that wanted them also, but I can't find them anywhere on the Web now! I only found his promo pictures of the product, but I can't actually find anywhere that sells these.

I made a quick cover from some corrugated plastic I had laying around. I'll work on prettying it up later.

Just spent a 1/2 hour this morning fishing that clown out of the overflow.
