Ovipositor out but no eggs!!!

So i have a pair of onyx percula clownfish and they have been cleaning their clay pot relentlessly! The female clownfish has gotten an enlarged belly and her ovipositor was out and she was making passes over the spot on the clay pot they have been cleaning for about 40min or so but she did not lay eggs! The first occurrence happened about 10 days ago and just happened again yesterday! What could possibly be the issue?

Must not be quite ready yet. My Mocha's have been cleaning a spot on both the bottom and one side of the overflow to lay and have been doing this for a week or two now. Not only that but they're fighting al the time, I have heard it's part of the breeding process for some. Pretty bad fights too, but the little male just keeps on hanging in there.

Just wait and they will lay when they're ready.
