owenspackmans 180 Reef upgrade build.

About 4-6 weeks with daily dosing instead of every other day. I have some Milli's that don't appear to have grown at all, while others are doing great.

Recovery Corals

Recovery Corals

I got my hands on some recovery corals this weekend. With Reefkings big move coming up and new job some pieces in his frag tanks had been struggling.

I decided to take some of these off his hands and hope I can help them recover, I figured I would document them here and hopefully watch them flourish! If they recover, I will have got them for a steal!!

Here they are:

Forgot to share my wonderful BRS fragging kit. I love it!

for anyone who's interested, my Moorish Idol made his way into the display yesterday. Here is a quick video. He's doing great.

Next to the Achilles and Orange shoulder, one of my favorite fish. Congrats. What is it eating thus far?

Unfortunately neither of those made my fish list! I have a large Kole Tang, Sailfin Blenny and Sleeper Blue Dot Goby in quarantine as of yesterday. Needed someone to much on a little hair algae and stir the sand!

He's eating all frozen foods I feed, mysis, brine etc. he's eating flake too. Still yet to get him to eat pellets.

I love my Kole. Always on the search and picking on rocks, glass, overflow no matter what. My friend has a MI and was going through the same situation as you. But after she placed him in the DT and watching the other fish, he changed over. Still a striking beautiful fish.

Here is my temp for last 7 days. The red is the heater turning on and off.

What did you change on the 10th? Looks like your temperature fluctuations really dropped. What range is your Apex set to keep the heater at? Mines 79.0 - 79.4.

Room temperature and conditions here. It started raining and stayed cool, so the house cooled down. You can see the first one (on the 5th) where the house was cool then too.

I always know when my better half has messed with the air conditioning by studying the apex. If she leaves her hands off, all is well, if she starts freezing the house I can catch her because the heater kicks in waaaay more. I also know when she opens the windows because the PH increases from my usual 8.1 to 8.3.
