Owners Thread: Innovative Marine Fusion 40

Famous last words! That's a fairly aggressive lighting schedule! My gen 1 has a lot less power and I dont run that high...but I'm a wuss too...I'm also waiting on ecotech to get the gen3 pro kits in to have mine upgraded...
Just did my wc. Everyone is happy....that gives me time to set the doser up Saturday...
Thinking now of setting both mps on one side too. Getting the dreaded sand divots...

Ha. Seriously! I was running up to 70% with 15.5k so I figured I would push the envolope on this one. I like the mp10 on both sides, enjoy the flow.

Thanks I'm a little iffy on it but im not messing with it my corals are stressed from the move. I'm thinking about getting a hydor nano to aim behind my rocks

Ya.. Don't worry about, my coral are still stressed from the crash. More flow is never a bad idea, especially if you haven't upgraded the return pump.

Yep. Good little pump for just that purpose. I had one for while too. Does the job just fine!
Let everything settle in a while..

Sorry didn't see there was a whole other page lol was replying to Brooklyn from last page and I like your aqua scape as well brooklyn

Oh and how are the jebaeo 10s? I have wp25 and it's almost to much I had to find the right spot and right adjustment so it wasn't blowing sand around

Oh nice Im going to try to find a used mp10 but if not I might go with that

I would trying and find some good used mp10s... they are for sale on here and over on manhattan reef site. Even if you get an older model, you can still upgrade them for a reasonable price. The way you can program them both through ecotech and apex is amazing.

Um, what he said...if you are going long term, then might as well go for it now..with the new qd pumps and the gyre out, there's a glut of good used mps listed in various places.
And if you get into controllers...they are ready. As long as they are wireless. Heck, if you get a real good deal on non wireless, the conversion is under $50!
It takes about 2 minutes to plug the rf board into the driver..

Like I said, we will be happy to help you spend your $$!

Tomorrow during my water change and clean, I am going to pull my reactor. I feel that the cheato is handling the phosphates well and since I am not caring a heavy load, it should be good

I am starting to look more and more at the aquamaxx hob-1...I just do not like that you can see it, but I am starting to get a little more irritated with this ghost.

I also dropped my lighting schedule down 5%...started to see a little bleach on my bird nest

Could you show me or tell me how you have your fuge set up?

What's bugging you about the ghost? Your load is very light so it should be barely foaming now..

If it's micro bubbles, take it out and make sure the pump is fully seated. That's what I saw with mine and I haven't seen a mb since.

Off to vet. Our 16.5 yo beagle needs her annual..

Watch here for new additions later today...

No micro bubbles, just again dialing it in..when I removed a fare amount of rock, I had to redial it in. Yesterday I used some rock putty to secure some rocks and the thing went crazy and overflowed. I know I should have shut down the skimmer.. But we will see

Yep, probably the rock putty. I will be removing one of my rocks today for a few hours. It's going in for a makeover at ultimate corals! I have another rock soaking and heating to take its place while its at the shop....
I'll do a before and after pic soon...
