Owners Thread: Innovative Marine Fusion 40

If the new Quiet Drives have more output, do you think one of those would be sufficient?

My understanding is that it will produce the same amount of flow as the previous mp10... The bigger problem is when will they be released. A few of us have been waiting for upgrade drivers. Ecotech said early March..don't think the 23rd qualifies for early March.

You could easily just do one. I had one for a while until I wanted more sps in my tank. Just depends on what you're going for

Went to order a IM magnafuge LED, but they are sold out everywhere :( found a few on ebay for $100, seems over priced. Are these just popular, or are they fading them out? Anyone herd anything?

This is exactly what's happening now with the gyre and qd intros. Lots of mps are showing up used.
I don't think it will be the same sell off with the wav. It's not a total game changer...it will be very high quality though..

Excellent points. I'll go with the MP10s and wait to see how Gen 1 WAVs shake out. Perhaps there will be some folks out there that get super-excited about the WAVs and decide to fund that purchase with the proceeds of selling me their MP10s...

I havent heard anything, I could see them fading them out...doubt it is a strong seller.. I used a coupon for , I forget what website, and got it for like $45..I went through my email and I couldn't find the reciept. JBL makes a decent light as well.

step away from the computer now.

$26 is a really good price!

I'm what you would call an enabler...

I know right....but, when I am picking up multi colored yumas for $26 I feel it is worth it right? Tell me it's worth it:D

Ha..I just want to support the economy and WWC since they are amazing to work with.

I will have the new additions tomorrow.. and then i am done. No more additions

" I did not have relations with that website.." Deny deny deny

I am pretty excited for the the new additions... Moved a little of the rock around to create a place for the yumas and gave some space between a birdsnest and a frogspawn. I have included a list of the new additions to the family

WWC Radioactive Slimer
Aussie Acropora
********** Red Robin Stag
WWC Pandoras
ORA Birdsnest
Lemon Lime Yuma
Goldrush Yuma
WWC Icesicle Acro
ORA Birds of Paradise
Orange Hammer
WWC Blueberry Fields Acro

These obviously didn't go in at once, but just wanted to do an updated list.

Nice collection so far!
I never want to list mine out. Some cost a lot. To put it mildly, our scoly and brain garden is worth more than the tank...same with the goniporas. The rest is just fluff. Zoas, palys shrooms etc...Oh yea...the one massive green hammer...that was a lot. And the Duncan that keeps sprouting new heads every month...and the kenya tree I can't kill. It's my first coral. It keeps sending branches all over the place...

It's all good. Beauty is in the eye blah blah blah...

I bet! A few of those pics I saw some pricey items. There is a limit I refuse to cross when purchasing coral. Equipment I will spend the money...coral nope. How long have you had your goniopora for? I tried last year with one and failed horribly.

First red Goni I had was 8 months before I killed it with red slime remover. The green/ purple is about 3 months and yellow 2 months. I target feed twice a week
They seem happy. They like the light. And flow.
Someday when I get my bed clean I'll do close ups of them at full extension. They are hypnotizing to watch...

I feel that way about fish. 30 bucks is tops. They are just accessories to keep the nitrogen cycle going...though I'd love a flame angel..tanks too small....
Coral otoh, if it's unique, I'll buy it. I tend to go for big rather than frags. I hate to see colonies fragged up. And the danger of living near ultimate, I stop by to say hi, and leave broke...

Hey everyone... I have finally finished setting up tank and filled with water, sand and rocks.
I used the CaribSea Fiji Pink and some live rock.
How long should I wait before adding inverts?
And correct me if I am wrong, but the skimmer doesn't get run during cycling.
I added a couple of pics to my album...

Oh and by the way I took everyone's advice and returned the IM desktop reactor for the mid size.

Very nice...what is that tank in the background. Glad you got the larger one. People will tell you not to run the skimmer or reactor during cycling, but i went ahead and did. I wanted everything to cycle together.

Do not add anything until the tank is cycled. Even the inverts have feelings!

My flame was as happy as he could be. Got him small and he loved swimming and eating. I am the reverse, I love the fish.. love how they swim and will drop a couple pennies on them. When I return, I have been eye balling a couple of snow flake clowns.
