Ugh.. not exactly happy with my last order from inTank.. UPS Sure post is slow as hell and takes over a week to get to my house, so I paid for the Upgrade to USPS Priority shipping cause I was kind of in a hurry. I get the email saying my package shipped and lo and behold, it went out UPS Sure post..

I'll be lucky if i get it this month. :(

Ups actually delivered my intank order instead of USPS. It showed up a day early....

Well I can now state that orp does in fact work inverse to ph...probe took a week to break in..going to study it's reactions to see if it can tell me when it's time to do a wc...

Yea, I got an email from Steve this morning saying their shipper accidentally closed my order as a UPS when it should have been USPS. They sent it out this morning via USPS.

I'd be a bit angry if it was food or filtration media you really needed.

Ooh! How and where are you planning to mount it?? A camera is high on my want-list, too. About the best I have come up yet is mounting a Foscam just above a window near the tank and angling it appropriately.

I am using an aluminum t-bar radion mount made by reefkoi. It has tons of mounting options. So I modified (drilled) the dropcam bracket and mounted it mid-upper tank side. It's Velcroed in place at the moment, but reefkoi is sending me some parts to make it more permanent and adjustable. It is less obtrusive than the MP dry side and has a decent field of view. Once I get its position tweaked I'll post some captures from it..maybe I'll share the stream on occasion too..

I had a foscam a while ago. It's just too big. That and every time I panned it, the dogs would flip out...dropcam is tiny, and silent....

Here's a cap from the dropcam this morning...

That screen capture you posted looks really good. I think I'm gonna borrow my friend's Dropcam and see if I can come up with a creative mounting idea.

I have a (stationary) Foscam mounted outside overlooking our front entrance and driveway. I wasn't expecting it to be nearly as large as it was. I figured if it didn't work out as a security camera I could always just throw it at anybody that might try to get in the house and use it as a weapon!

LOL! I'll take my glock over your foscam any day....we were robbed once. It's never going to happen again...and if it does...they better hope we aren't home..
We use Logitech security cameras all over the house. They hide well under the eaves outside and are very unobtrusive inside. Just too expensive to add another one for the tank.

I figured for my 500th post I would give you guys some pics.. Tank is rolling well. Have some GHA, got carried away on my coral food :)

I am working on the right side of the tank, my chair is over there and want some coral on the side so I have something to look at.

Hahaha... Yea, I'm fortunate to have never had anything like that happen, but I definitely prepare and protect myself, too. Started out with a Kimber, then (VERY mistakenly) went to S&W M&P Shield, and now have a Para Warthog. Pretty sure I should have kept the Kimber, but the Para isn't terrible.

Will definitely take a look at the Logitech cameras, too!

Side is going to be tough..grab some of those clove polyps and let them fill that side..you'll get color and motion..

Its the alert system. It's a bit pricey but it works very well. Warthog is nice. I think I'd have kept the Kimber too.

So we stopped at the LFS on the way home from dinner. Mrs saw Harliquin so we now have a pair. They hooked up immediately and chowed down on starfish together....and Frank Jr. is in the house..he's hiding at the moment. I'm hoping he has a similar personality to his predecessor...

That is all you bought when he is having a 45% off sale? Shoot

Different LFS. Same sale prices! I still dropped $100 between the fish and food if that'll make you happy!
