OzarksReef Rimless Cube Build Thread

Wow - I forgot I had this thread going. I've moved twice since this thread was active and I'm back to a cube - 93-gallon marineland rimless (30" x 30"). It's been up since July using established rock and corals I've had for the past year. Will try to get a new thread going on this new system soon. It was fun looking back at my old Cad system :)

do you like the marineland93g better or the acad rimless? I have some thoughts on the 93g rimless as my next tank upgrade
thanks

I liked the extra space in the Marineland better, but the Cadlights was better made. The silicone work on the Marineland is not great and the glass alignment is poor. I suppose you get what you pay for though...the Marineland is definitely value-priced.

Are you still in the hobby or left? :(

Hey Sahin - I keep intending to start a thread on my 190, but just haven't got it done. I'm still very involved in the hobby and still lurk around the forum on a regular basis. Whenever someone bumps one of my old threads, it brings me back to some of the many tanks I've set up in the past. The 190 celebrated its first birthday in April and is starting to show some promising growth and color.

I took some top-down shots a couple months ago I'll share - maybe it'll inspire me to start a new thread! I don't have a recent FTS but will try to get one up soon.

I switched to halides back in December and have seen steady improvement - especially the SPS. I feel like many of the smaller colonies are on the verge of really taking off...at least I'm hoping they are!

With all those lovely corals and great photography, you have to start a new thread. :D

I've admired your photography and coral colours over the years and thought I'd bump your thread in case you still had a tank. And its a good thing I did bump your thread. :)

Thanks to both of you - your tanks have been an inspiration for me. Photography is one of my other hobbies and I've enjoyed capturing the corals each month. Will get a thread going soon!
