Thanks. Still needs a good bit of work to get it the way I want it (and keep my hands out of the tank )

After figuring out the largest tank I could fit through the door opening and into the corner of the room, I came up with these:

Great Build...what is the size of you overflow opening and is the black vinyl stuck on the inside glass ??

Also does the external overflow box has 4 walls or it uses the tank back wall as it's 4th wall ??

Do you have a lot of flex with the aluminum rack? I'm curious how many supports points are needed to add a pully system. Lastly, what about heat, does the rack get too hot to touch with your bare hands? Thx.

It has flex but not that much.
4 supports via posts going through 4 holes in each corner of the rack.
Aluminum so it is cool to the touch.

My favorite fish, acts like an underwater dog. eats out of my hand. I did train it for a couple months to go from live food at night all the way to frozen food out of my hand under 1000Ws. Doesn't bother anything in the reef, shrimp included. Not for the novice reefer IMO. They are supposed to be extremely shy, stay in caves, only eat at night, eat shrimp etc. Mine is the exact opposite so I got lucky.

I still have a nice large piece of it. It outgrew my tank so I had to trim it. Now my Tyree Undata is in it's place and over 16" in diamter now.....
