I got the discs but haven't used them yet. Our new house will have a work out room/area. What basic equipment do I need? Any? dumbbells? Pull up bar? etc....

Thanks

I have that system. We bought the BowFlex adjustable dumbells in his and hers. They are expensive but barely take up any space. I have them with the stands too. I have a free standing pull up bar apparatus, yoga mats and yoga blocks. You can use therapy bands as resistance too.

My wife and I started this program when we met and we were college athletes, still actively competing in triathlons and tennis, but obviously didn't have our college bodies anymore, but we were still fit. We were shocked how difficult it was to get through the routines, so go slow! We both suffered some strains and small things that set us back.

We just had our first baby and are almost done our new gym, so we are looking forward to starting again. This time though, I'm going to only do about 20-30 minutes of each routine to start. Once I can get through all 45+ minutes of each routine, I'll start the full program in earnst.

GL and let us know your progress!

Oh, did you buy the system or just "found" the discs? You need the books, becuase that's what has all the diet plans etc...

Trust me, if you stick to this system, you will see DRAMATIC results, so it's worth the $$$ to support the creators.

I'm more concerned about the fitness versus the diet. I've been a meathead weight lifter my whole adult life a d I've definitely taken that as far as I can. Joints just don't handle it well any more. I have adopted more exercise based routines at the gym now.instead of the old "me lift heavy thing 10 times, then see spine surgeon." I've been cycling more than ever. Now I'm psyched about adopting these workouts with some light weight training. I've been eyeballing those dumbbells sets too. That with a bench or two and a pull up dip station. Just wanted to be sure I was headed in the right direction.

Thanks

I am been doing this program for about 7 months know. You are going to hurt muscle you didn't even know you had. It is an amazing program. What I really like in the varity. I have never found myself getting bored.
Like it has been said, pull bar is a must as state in the videos you can use a set of dumb bell for push up stands. You can use band for the pull up motions and they do show you how and you can use band for the wieight lifting. Myself I do it at the gym at work so I have access to all the dumb bells I need. To let you know though the routines are about an hour long, but I have actually gotten it down to only taking 1/2 hour, once you know the routines and got your worksheets I find you really can cut the time down.
Good luck, its lots of pain, but in a good way.
