Issues with the Kore 5th
Hey guys
So I am wondering if anyone here is having the same issues with this doser as I have so far.
So I bought the doser a few months ago. The initial install went well, no issues with BT (both the built in and the usb one) and I had no problems messing around with it. However, since my tank was not fully running all I did is set it up as an ATO and I said to myself I will use it as a doser when the tank is up and running. I did connect to it a few times every now and then without any issues. But stopped doing this for a few weeks.
So a few weeks later I wanted to connect to the doser to start familiarizing myself with it and start dosing some calcium. And here is when problems started. Everytime I would connect to the doser it would say "attempting to connect to the doser...." and that's about it. The app will freeze and I couldnt go any further. During this period the doser was working (at least as an ATO).
After a quick response from their support service he told me to do a reset, so I did and the doser became responsive again. So I set it up and worked well for a few weeks, after a few weeks I noticed that my calcium levels were very low, much lower than it should be, and that for some reason, my other 2 containers (which only had RO water at that time) had also less fluid than they were supposed to have (there was no reason to have lost fluid as these two pumps where supposed to be off), when I connected to the doser again the same problem "attempting to connect..." and then nothing.
This time the reset didnt work for me, so Tomasz kindly asked me to buy another BT device, so I did, came back home with it and same issue.
Tomasz then connected remotely to it and after 30 minutes or so he asked me to try to reset it again, after a couple of attempts the reset worked and we had control of the doser once more.
So I configured the doser again to dose calcium (70 ml) and the ATO.
A few days later, while I was sleeping I woke up because I noticed that the doser was beeping a lot, when I went to check I realized what my calcium levels (in the container) were very low (I had 2200 ml and at that point I only had over 600 ml left) and when I checked the doser daily dose I noticed it was dosing ~670 ml per day?, although I have it set up to dose 70 ml (and thats what is set up in the pump settings). Anyway, aside from this (which is currently being looked by Tomasz pending an interaction from my side as it could be a calibration mistake from my part) I noticed that ALL my pumps were on again? that was very weird.
So I switched EVERYTHING off but the ATO, that was over 2 weeks ago and today, again, I noticed that the doser was making a lot of noise (beeping), and the display showed an ATO refill alarm, from what I can tell the pump is either broken or the doser is not activating it. However, when I tried to connect again the doser is once more un responsive!!!
Worse of all is that I cannot reset it as I recently had surgery and I can't make any physical efforts, but of course, not the ATO is not working, and I am going back to the hospital for 3 days WITHOUT a working ATO.
So my question is if anyone has have any similar issues? (pumps coming on, not being able to connect to the doser after a few days of not connecting to it). I am asking this because when I mentioned this to PS they said that they have never heard of this before and that it is just not possible for this to happen (I have been taking meds so it could be me lol)
I have no choice but to switch off the doser, I just can't trust it anymore.
I will try to set up my Apex to do the ATO part but dosing will have to be done manually until I get to the bottom of this. This is a problem since my wounds have not yet fully heal but I have little choice.
One thing though, Tomasz has been very good with me and very responsive but I just think I am going mad here... is like this doser has a life of it own!! lol
