Padding for rimless tanks?

Okay aside from plywood, what are people using to pad their rimless tanks. Should I use thin styrofoam or toolbox liner, which I used before. But it was only a 12g mr Aqua. Or should I just lay it on the plywood?

Hobby lobby project foam board thats what I used.

I used rubberized foam window sealant tape from lowes.

If it's a new tank, ask your manufacturer what they recommend. On my LeeMar I used standard foam insulation from Home Depot.

i used these type of insulation i purchased at JOJOs. its black and has worked perfectly on my rimless 14.5g

Under my new tank it is like a yoga mat material.

Ill check out the foam insulation at Home Depot, heading there now to get my plywood. My wife does have a yoga mat, maybe I just cut it up and hope she doesn't notice it. Just sitting in the garage

I used the foam work shop padding from Harbor Freight. However, I don't have a rimless tank.

I think it's different for acrylic, but I would do more research.

Check out 99 cent store in the kids section. They have this foam that is made for kids. It is design like puzzles but you can buy a few...put together and cut it to your size...it's really good mat foam

Or walmart has a full sheet one 48x 96ish for 20$
