paint tank?

Does everyone here paint the back of their tanks? If so, what kind of paint do you use, and do you have to sand it or prep it at all?

If not, can I just use a spray adhesive to put some black posterboard on the back? it's 24x48".

Paint the outside, I used krylon fusion, but any spray paint will work.

I used limo tint for car windows.

krylon fusion works great. ive also done limo tint works just as well. I used blue.

I guess I'm the only one who didn't use spray paint! I just used a couple of coats of latex paint. Worked great. Easy to remove if you make a mistake or want to make changes.

Didn't have to do a thing. The new oceanic tank comes with a black back surprisingly enough.
