does anyone have blue paint for the back of a tank? don't want to spend all that $ to paint one side of a 55 gallon when i can give someone a couple of bucks.

I used blue rustoleom(sp) spray paint. Prep the area first with alcohol to make sure it is clean. Tape off what you don't want painted and paint the back of the tank away...

Andy...I just painted mine last night with "aqua-blue" RustOleum spray...turned out great...like Bcollins said...clean with alcohol and spray multiple light coats until the back is opaque

I cheated - I put blue poster board on the back of my tank....cheap and I can change it out when I get sick of it.

yes forgot to add that greg, good point. Spray multiple light coats. Don't try to over do it. You have to be patient. It will need some time to dry as well. Color really looks good once it is on there.
