I need to run a 16' conduit between my garage and family room in the main house to run my auto water change and remote Kalk reactor lines and my Apex control cable. I was going to use metal conduit, but the sch 40 gray stuff is much cheaper and won't rust or corrode (it will run under an eve. Does anyone know if it will take exterior house paint? It will be secure and more-or-less protected from the elements.

Generally it will take the paint. Not that hard to do. Remember that pvc conduit contains arsenic, so careful with it, and it uses a special glue. (avail at home depot)

Also it is a violation of the electric code to run a low volt control cable in a raceway with 120 volt electrical conductors. If no 120 in the conduit, don't worry about it.

Jim
