Pair of 6100 enough?

I'm looking to do away with my CL due to the higher cost of electricity lately. Would a pair of 6100 work well for my 225g tank? They would be replacing an Ampmaster 3000 pump.

I'm new to Tunzes so forgive this question, but will the 6100 be compatible with the 6101's as far as the controller goes, or do I know what I'm talking about?

The 6100s are good pumps. I have 2 but I am adding flow as its not enough for me in my 120. My tank is BB so if I had sand it would be plenty.

The 6101 will use the same controllers. All that is changing is the driver will be inside the motor and the transformer will be an electronic power supply rather than the big copper coil.
