Pair of solar wrasses?

I have a 70 gallon, roughly cube shape. The way the rockwork is set up, there's a lot of free swimming area. Still a lot of rockwork and caves to work through. Would this be large enough for a pair of Solar wrasses?


Tank mates would include bonded pair of ocellaris, mated pair of dwarf angels, flame hawk, and starry blenny. We really want to add some more movement and color, the angels are the only really "active" fish in the display.

Fairy wrasses dont form a pair like other fish do, rather their gender roles are based off of aggression and other social roles.

Also, many specimens sold as female solorensis are actually a male fish of another species(LA has a pic of 2 males of 2 species).

I would recommend finding 2 species of male fairy wrasses that you like and go with those instead of trying to get a pr of C. solorensis.

And given the tank size, you may be better off with a couple of the smaller species which "look dissimilar".

In this case I'm probably going to look at a single wrasse, Cirrhilabrus, and a different smaller fish... goby or basslet.
