Pairing candy cane pistol with yellow watchman

I just got a candy cane pistol and a yellow watchman goby yesterday. They went in the tank and are living on opposite ends. I'm used to seeing them bond and live together. Will it just happen naturally or do I have to get them to meet each other some way?

They will naturally find each other over time. How large is your tank?

If you want, you can chase the goby closer to the pistol shrimp. Just get them on the same side of the tank and it will speed things along. otherwise, just wait it out.

When my pistol shrimp snapped in the tank the goby was with it immediantly after. They'll find each other.

My tank is 60 gallons.

It can vary...my randall's goby and tiger pistol pretty much immediately took up with each other where as it took a couple of weeks for my YWG to find his candy cane pistol....both are in my 75g
