Pairing clowns

I bought an Ocellaris clown when I first set up my tank months ago and then added a small Da Vinci clown two days ago. The Da Vinci is much smaller than my original Oscellaris and I was told by an associate at my LFS that they would pair just fine since there is a clear size difference.

Online guides I've looked at since have all said that to pair clowns you should add them juveniles. Am I asking for trouble with these clowns together? No issues yet.

If there's a clear size difference, you should be fine. In my experience, females are substantially larger.

Juveniles great, but even these have issues sometimes.
Just keep a watch and see how/what they do

If there's a problem, they usually show up quickly.

Thank you.

I do notice sometimes the larger one turns around and goes at him. I saw goes at because I'm not entirely sure what's happening - the larger one turns like it's going to bite the smaller one but I don't think he actually gets bit considering I don't see any nipped fins. He smaller one eats without any issues. Should I be concerned?

No concern unless she is harassing, bumping, and/or chasing continuously, with no peace, and the smaller one is hiding, starving, or appears "beat up".

She's just letting him know who is at the top.

Just let it play out.
I usually find they either get together, or the smaller one is kicked out.
